For Him

Gentleman's Facial

Built around what shaving actually does to skin. Ingrown hairs, razor irritation, congestion under a beard line, and skin that is genuinely thicker and oilier than the products are designed for.

What it actually is

Not a regular facial with a different name on it.

Men's skin is measurably thicker, produces more oil, and is being scraped with a blade several times a week. That combination creates a specific set of problems — ingrown hairs along the jaw and neck, persistent razor burn, and congestion that sits deeper than it does in most skin.

This appointment is built for those problems specifically. Extractions concentrate along the beard line and neck where ingrowns live, the exfoliation is stronger because the skin will take it, and everything used is unscented and matte. You leave looking like you had a good night's sleep, not like you have been to a spa.

If it is your first facial, this is a straightforward hour. Nobody will try to talk to you throughout and nobody will sell you a shelf of products at the end.

Gentleman's Facial in progress

The appointment

60 minutes, start to finish.

Deep cleanse

Cutting through oil and the day properly, which most men's skin needs more of than it gets.

Steam and soften

Essential here — ingrown hairs cannot be released safely without it.

Clear the jawline

Extractions focused where the actual problem is: beard line, neck and nose.

Calm and protect

Cooling mask for razor irritation, then a matte finish. Nothing shiny, nothing scented.

Why people rebook it

What you should reasonably expect.

Fewer ingrown hairs

The single most common reason men book this, and the thing that improves fastest.

Less razor irritation

Calmer skin along the neck and jaw within a day.

Cleaner shave

A properly exfoliated surface is simply easier to shave.

Nothing obvious

No residue, no scent, no shine. Nobody will know where you have been.

Being straight with you

When this is the right call — and when it isn't.

A good fit if

  • Ingrown hairs along the jaw or neck are a recurring problem
  • Shaving leaves your skin irritated most weeks
  • You have never had a facial and want something straightforward
  • You keep a beard and the skin underneath is congested

Probably not, if

  • You have a severe active breakout — the Anti-Acne Facial handles that properly
  • You shaved within the last few hours, which makes extraction uncomfortable
  • You are after anti-ageing results, which needs resurfacing instead

We would genuinely rather move you onto the right treatment than take the booking for this one.

Questions

What people ask before booking.

Do I need to shave beforehand?
Come as you normally are, but not freshly shaved — skin that has just had a blade over it is far more sensitive to extraction. The day before is ideal.
Can I have this with a full beard?
Yes. The work concentrates on the skin underneath and around it, which is usually where the congestion is anyway.
Will my face be red afterwards?
Slightly, where extractions were done, and it settles within a couple of hours. Nothing anyone would remark on.
Do I have to talk the whole time?
No. Tell us at the start that you would rather not and that is completely fine — a lot of people prefer it.
How often is worth it?
Every four to six weeks if ingrown hairs are the issue. Less often if you are just maintaining.

Worth the six minutes over the bridge.

Call and tell us what your skin is doing. We will put you with the treatment that suits it — and say so plainly if that is not the one you had in mind.
