Congestion Treatment
Deep Cleansing Facial
The reset. For skin that feels blocked and looks tired — blackheads across the nose, rough texture, a general dullness that no amount of cleansing at home shifts.
What it actually is
What your cleanser at home cannot reach.
Cleansing at home works on the surface. It cannot soften a pore enough to empty it, and it cannot reach the congestion sitting just underneath that makes skin look grey and feel bumpy under the fingertips.
This is the appointment that clears that out. Steam and a proper exfoliation open everything up, extractions do the actual work, and a mask matched to what your skin is doing that day brings it back down. It is not a complicated treatment. It is a thorough one.
It is also the most sensible first appointment if you have never had a facial before and have no idea which of these ten you need — we can see your skin properly once it is clean, and point you at the right thing from there.
The appointment
90 minutes, start to finish.
Double cleanse
Makeup, sunscreen and the day come off first, so the actual treatment is not working through a layer of product.
Steam and soften
Warm steam opens things up. This is what makes extraction possible without force.
Extract
Blackheads and congestion cleared thoroughly, working across the face rather than fixating on the nose.
Mask and finish
A mask chosen on the day, then massage, moisturiser and SPF. Skin looks brighter before you leave.
Why people rebook it
What you should reasonably expect.
Visibly clearer pores
The difference across the nose and chin is the one people notice in the mirror straight away.
Smoother texture
That bumpy, gritty feel across the forehead and cheeks goes.
Brighter, less grey
Removing the dead surface layer does more for dullness than any serum will.
A clear starting point
With skin properly clean we can tell you what it actually needs next.
Being straight with you
When this is the right call — and when it isn't.
A good fit if
- Your skin feels congested, rough or blocked
- Blackheads keep returning across the nose and chin
- It is your first facial and you want somewhere sensible to start
- You want maintenance rather than a course of anything
Probably not, if
- You are actively breaking out and inflamed — the Anti-Acne Facial is built for that
- You want pigment or fine-line change, which needs resurfacing
- Your skin is currently sunburnt or broken
We would genuinely rather move you onto the right treatment than take the booking for this one.
Questions
What people ask before booking.
How is this different from the Anti-Acne Facial?
Will my pores look permanently smaller?
Is there any downtime?
How often should I have one?
Can I have this if I am pregnant?
