What it actually is

What Home Care Can't Always Handle.

Cleansing at home does a lot, but some buildup and clogged pores need more hands-on work. When skin starts feeling rough, bumpy, or like it never quite gets completely clean, that's usually when a deeper treatment makes sense.

We start by softening and exfoliating the skin, then take our time with extractions where they're needed. After that, we choose a mask and finishing products based on how your skin looks and feels that day. It's not a complicated facial. It's just a thorough one.

It's also a good place to start if you've never had a facial before and aren't sure what to book. Once we've looked at your skin properly, we can tell you whether this is enough on its own or if another treatment would make more sense next time.

The appointment

90 Minutes, Start to Finish.

Double Cleanse

We start by removing makeup, sunscreen, oil, and whatever else your skin has picked up during the day. That gives us a clean surface to actually work with.

Steam and Soften

Warm steam and gentle exfoliation help soften buildup before we start extractions. It makes the process easier on the skin and means less forcing.

Take Our Time With Extractions

Blackheads and clogged pores are cleared carefully, working across the face rather than spending the whole appointment chasing one stubborn area.

Mask and Finish

We choose the mask based on how your skin looks after extractions, then finish with hydration, massage, moisturizer, and SPF. Your skin leaves feeling clean, settled, and refreshed.

Why people come back

What You Can Reasonably Expect.

Cleaner-Looking Pores

Once the buildup is cleared, areas like the nose and chin usually look noticeably cleaner and less congested.

Smoother Texture

That rough, bumpy feeling across the forehead, nose, or cheeks often feels much smoother after a thorough cleanse and exfoliation.

Fresher-Looking Skin

Removing surface buildup and dead skin can make dull skin look brighter and feel a little more alive again.

A Better Starting Point

Once your skin is properly cleansed, it's much easier for us to see what it actually needs next — and what it probably doesn't.

Being straight with you

When This Facial Makes Sense — and When It Doesn't.

A Good Fit If

  • Your skin feels congested, rough, or like it never gets completely clean
  • Blackheads keep coming back around the nose, chin, or forehead
  • This is your first facial and you want a simple place to start
  • You're looking for regular maintenance rather than a more corrective treatment

Probably Not the Right Facial If

  • You're dealing with active, inflamed breakouts. The Anti-Acne Facial gives us more time to focus on that.
  • Your main concern is pigmentation, fine lines, or deeper texture. Another treatment may make more sense.
  • Your skin is sunburned, irritated, or broken. It's better to let it settle first.

If this isn't the right facial for your skin, we'll tell you. We'd rather point you toward something that makes sense than book a treatment just because it's the one you originally asked for.

Questions

What People Ask Before Booking.

How is this different from the Anti-Acne Facial?
The Deep Cleansing Facial is better for clogged pores, blackheads, rough texture, and skin that feels generally congested. The Anti-Acne Facial is more focused on active breakouts and skin that needs a little more time and care around inflammation.
Will my pores look permanently smaller?
No. Pores don't permanently shrink from a facial. But once buildup and congestion are cleared, they can look much less noticeable and the skin usually feels smoother and cleaner.
Is there any downtime?
None worth planning around. Some pinkness for an hour or two where extractions were done, and that is it.
How often should I have one?
Every four to six weeks keeps most skin clear. If you are very congested we might suggest two closer together to begin with, then space them out.
Can I have this if I am pregnant?
Yes. It is one of the treatments on this list that is entirely fine during pregnancy. Tell us when you call so we can adjust the products.
Do extractions hurt?
You'll feel some pressure, especially around stubborn blackheads, but we soften the skin first and don't force anything that isn't ready. If an area is getting too sensitive, we move on.
Can I wear makeup after the facial?
If you can avoid it for the rest of the day, even better. Your skin has just been cleansed, exfoliated, and extracted, so we'd rather give it a little time before putting makeup back on.
Is this a good facial if I've never had one before?
Yes. This is actually one of the facials we often recommend for a first visit. It gives us a chance to properly clean the skin, see how it responds, and get a better idea of what it may need going forward.
Is a Deep Cleansing Facial only for oily skin?
No. Dry and combination skin can still get clogged pores, blackheads, and surface buildup. We adjust the exfoliation, extractions, mask, and finishing products around the skin we see that day.
