A small studio that does a few things well.
New Jersey Facial is the New Jersey-facing side of Si Glam Glow, a skincare studio in Tottenville, Staten Island. Same room, same hands, same short list of treatments — this site simply exists because a good share of our clients drive over the Outerbridge to reach us.
The founder
Rolanna, licensed esthetician.
Rolanna is a licensed esthetician and acne specialist, and the founder of the studio. She has spent more than a decade working in health and wellness, and she came to skincare the way a lot of good estheticians do — by spending years fighting with her own skin first.
That is not a marketing line, it is the reason the treatment list looks like this. When you have been sold the wrong product often enough, you stop wanting to sell anybody else one. It is also why nobody here is going to tell you that you need a course of six when three will do.
The studio runs one client at a time. There is no second treatment room, nobody is being started in the next chair, and the appointment you booked is the appointment you get.
How we work
Four things we hold to.
Honest first
If the treatment you have asked for is not the one your skin needs, we will tell you on the phone, before you have paid for anything.
No pressure to buy
You will get aftercare advice because it affects your results. You will not get a shelf of products pushed at you on the way out.
Time, not turnover
Appointments run the length they are meant to. Extraction work in particular cannot be hurried without leaving marks.
Realistic expectations
Skin changes gradually. Anyone promising a transformation in one session is selling something, and it is usually a package.
Why a separate site
Because half our clients are not from here.
Si Glam Glow has always drawn clients from across the bridge — Perth Amboy, Woodbridge, Carteret, Edison. This site is for them: the same studio and the same treatments, with the practical detail those clients actually need, like which crossing to take and where to park. It is one business, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise.
