What it actually is

Resurfacing that leaves skin wetter, not drier.

Most exfoliation takes something away and leaves the skin drier for it. This works differently: a spiral tip delivers water and active solution onto the skin while simultaneously vacuuming away the loosened debris, so the surface is being cleared and flooded at the same moment.

That combination is why it suits skin that is both congested and dehydrated — a genuinely common state, and one where a traditional scrub makes half the problem worse. Blackheads and softened congestion are lifted out by suction rather than pressure, which also makes it far gentler than manual extraction.

It is a thirty-minute appointment with no downtime whatsoever, which makes it the easiest treatment here to fit into a working day and one of the best first facials for someone who has never had one.

Hydroderm Facial in progress

The appointment

30 minutes, start to finish.

Cleanse

Surface cleared so the tip is working on skin rather than through makeup and sunscreen.

Exfoliate

The spiral tip lifts the dead surface layer with water and gentle acid, not abrasion.

Extract

Suction draws out softened congestion. Comfortable, and far kinder than manual pressure.

Hydrate

Serum delivered into freshly cleared skin, then protection. Skin looks plump immediately.

Why people rebook it

What you should reasonably expect.

Hydrated and clear at once

The rare treatment that addresses congestion without leaving skin tight.

Comfortable extraction

Suction instead of fingers, which suits people who dislike manual extractions.

Instantly plumper

Fine dehydration lines look softer as soon as you sit up.

Genuinely quick

Thirty minutes, no downtime, no redness to plan around.

Being straight with you

When this is the right call — and when it isn't.

A good fit if

  • Your skin is congested and dehydrated at the same time
  • You dislike manual extractions and want a gentler route
  • You have thirty minutes and no tolerance for downtime
  • It is your first facial and you want something easy

Probably not, if

  • You have severe congestion needing thorough manual work — book Deep Cleansing
  • You want significant textural or pigment change, which needs a peel or a course of microdermabrasion
  • You have active, inflamed acne

We would genuinely rather move you onto the right treatment than take the booking for this one.

Questions

What people ask before booking.

Is this the same as a HydraFacial?
It works on the same principle — water-based exfoliation with suction extraction and serum infusion. HydraFacial is a specific trademarked machine; we use our own hydrodermabrasion system, so we call it what it is rather than borrowing the brand name.
Does the suction hurt?
No. It feels like a firm tugging across the skin, a little strange for the first minute and then perfectly comfortable.
How long do the results last?
The plumpness and glow are at their best for about a week, and the improvement in congestion lasts longer. Monthly keeps skin consistently clear.
Can I have it before an event?
Yes — it is one of the safest choices for the day before, since there is nothing unpredictable about how skin reacts.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Usually yes. There is no grit and no heat, and the strength of the solution can be adjusted. Mention it when you call.
